Jewish soldiers with the American Forces in the Middle East have received Passover leaves to spend the holiday in Palestine. Special rations including matzohs have been issued to those soldiers in the camps who wish to observe the dietary laws during the Passover period. Last night many of the American officers and men were guests at seders arranged here by the Jewish Hospitality Committee, which is also arranging other entertainment for the soldiers during the next few days.

Matzohs for Jewish soldiers with the British forces in Malta, which were sent some time ago by the Jewish National Council, have arrived there, it was learned today. At the same time the Victory League for Russia announced that several ambulances which the group is donating to the Red Army left for Teheran today.

Archbishop Spellman, who has been touring Europe, North Africa and the Middle East as a quasi-official emissary of the United States, is expected here tomorrow. He will remain for several days, since he wishes to spend Easter in Palestine. Jewish leaders here are planning to see him to discuss several important matters.
