The famous German Jewish medical specialist, Dr. Wasserman today announced that he had developed a blood reaction test by which the presence of active tuberculosis germs in the body could be disclosed.
The announcement of the discovery was made by Dr. Wasserman in an interview with German newspapers.
Most people, according to Wasserman, are infected with latent tuberculosis from birth, but the healthy individuals are able to throw it off or keep the germs from spreading and becoming active. His new test will be a positive means, he declares, of determining whether children are infected with latent or active tuberculosis germs.
