The sports section of he Febderationo f Jewish Ex-Soldiers in Germany reports to continuing growth of membership. It has already ninety affiliated cluds with about 9,000 members, it reports. In some large towns the use of the municipal sports ground and gymanstic halls has been regained and in several places they have established their own sports grounds and gymnastic halls. Entire clubs have become affiliate. The Berlin rowing club, Helvetia, joined recently in body, and it has now been followed by the Berlin rowing club, Welle Poseidon, one of the most important rowing clubs in Germany, which has been in existence for over forty years.
The German Maccabbi also reports increasing membership. Seven new federations within the German Maccabbi have recently been established: the Hakoah in Dortmund; the Blue-White in Hanburg; the Hakoah in Kreuzburg; the Maccabbi in Moers; the Hakoah in Oberhausen, the Bar Kochba in Schneidemuehl, and the Maccabbi Hazair in Brakel, in Westphalia.
New Maccabbi organizations are also in formation in Wiesbaden, Karisruhe, Gross-Strehlitz, Fulda and Elbing.
