Jewish Store Clerks Suffering from Unemployment, Appeal to Warsaw City Government for Help

The plight of the Jewish store clerks in Warsaw was presented to the Warsaw government commissariat by a delegation of the Association of Jewish Store Employees yesterday.

The delegation declared that out of the 5,000 members belonging to the Association, 3,000 are unemployed due to crisis.

Soup kitchens for the unmarried members and lower prices for fathers of families was asked by the delegation.

The Commissariat promised to consider the request of the Association.
