Acts of violence were committed today by Roumanian students, members of the anti-Semitic student organization, on strike for the introduction of a numerus clausus against Jewish students.

The anti-Semitic students attacked the Jewish students who attended lectures at the university here. Many were injured. The students Nadler, Stern, Stifter and Kohn were seriously injured. The Jewish students dormitory resembles a hospital, almost all the students being bandaged.

Panic prevails in the Jewish quarter. All the stores were closed in fear of attacks.
