Within the last few weeks about 500 Jewish students or the Medical Faculty of Vienna University have obtained transfer certificates and have left for universities abroad.
The Rectorate of the university is greatly concerned over this growing movement among Jewish students, resulting from the anti-Jewish disturbances and the numerus clausus agitation. It is feared that the result will be a severe financial crisis at the University.
