A protest meeting of Jewish students at Warsaw University was held here to-day against the new anti-Jewish agitation which has culminated in attacks on Jewish students at Cracow and at Warsaw Universities. A resolution was adopted appealing to the Government and to the University authorities to do whatever is necessary to assure to students enrolled at the Universities their right of pursuing their studies without hindrance because they happen to be Jews. The outrages committed against the Jewish students at the Universities are instigated by the National Democratic Party for its own political purposes, it was claimed by the speakers. It had been feared that the antisemitic students might attempt to break up the meeting, but no incidents occurred.
A deputation of Jewish students has been appointed to visit the Ministry of Education and present the demands of the Jewish students.
