A “numerus clausus week” will be observed by various Jewish student bodies in Europe. During the week of Febraury 15, protest meetings will be arranged against the numerus clausus laws in Hungary and other East European countries.
The proclamation of the “numerus clausus week” was made in accordance with a decision of the conference of the World Union of Jewish Youth Organizations which was held in August. It was learned that the leaders of the World Union are negotiating with leaders of Jewish student bodies in the United States to arrange for a similar “numerus clausus week” in American centers.
