Many Jewish students were seriously wounded in an attack made upon them by Roumanian students in the university of Bucharest. A crowd of Roumanian students in the Juridical, Chemical and Engineering Departments of the University fell upon Jewish students, beat them up and threw them down the stairs. The Praesidium of the University called the police who cleared the halls of the rioting students.
A strong cordon of police is guarding the university and will attend the lectures if the excesses will be repeated.
