The 10th international convention of B’nai B’rith Girls closed here today with a discussion on the responsibilities of the adult Jewish community to Jewish youth. The convention lasted seven days.

The 150 teen-age delegates agreed that adults “should practice more and preach less” if they want their children to be more attached to religious values. They also urged their parents “to be less materialistic,” and “to work for unity in the American Jewish community,” thereby setting “good examples” themselves. Elaine Kaner, of New York, was elected president of the organization for the coming year.
