The Jewish Theatre for Children announced today that it will again this year conduct its Golden Pen Playwriting Contest. A $1,000 prize will be awarded for the best full-length script written for children in English on a Jewish theme.
Manuscripts for this year’s competition must be submitted by April 15, 1961. The theatre group, which is sponsoring the contest for the fifth consecutive year, will produce the prizewinning play during the 1961 season.
