LEGAL PROHIBITION OF RACIALIST PROPAGANDA IS DEMANDED IN A RESOLUTION ADOPTED AT A CONFERENCE OF THE JEWISH WAR VETERANS POLAND. DECLARING THE VETERANS’ STAUNCHEST LOYALTY TO THE STATE, THE RESOLUTION INDIGNANTLY REJECTS AS BASELESS ACCUSATIONS REGARDING THE ALLEGED HARMFULNESS OF THE JEWISH ELEMENT TO POLISH CULTURE, THE HISTORY OF WHICH “SHOWS THAT THE JEWS MADE AND ARE STILL MAKING LASTING AND INDESTRUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS.”

THE RESOLUTION ALSO PROTESTS AGAINST “GHETTO” BENCHES FOR JEWISH STUDENTS IN POLISH UNIVERSITIES, WHICH ARE TERMED VIOLATION OF ELEMENTARY RIGHTS GUARANTEED BY THE CONSTITUTION COURAGEOUS ATTITUDE OF THE JEWISH STUDENTS IS COMMENDED IN THE RESOLUTION.
