The Jewish War Veterans of the U.S. has forbidden all units of the organization “from initiating or participating in any public demonstration which poses a potential consequence of riot or public disorder,” it was announced here today.
A J.W.V. post may, however, request permission to participate in a public expression against Communism or Fascism, but may not undertake action without the sanction of a special three-man committee. The organization also directed its units throughout the country to apply a “quarantine treatment to public appearances of, or utterances by, Communists, Fascists and all other subversive elements.”
