The Jewish War Veterans will be admitted to membership in the National Community Relations Advisory Council which is coordinating the work of Jewish groups engaged in civic protective activities, it was announced here today by Archie H. Greenberg, national commander.
“We are happy to join the American Jewish Committee, the American Jewish Congress, the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish Labor Committee and the fourteen local protective agencies throughout the country that comprise the National Community Relations Advisory Council,” Mr. Greenberg said. “The Jewish War Veterans, who are represented on practically all the local civic protective setups, have always been strong supporters on both a national and local level of the need for unified coordinating agencies in the field of Jewish civic protection.
“We are hopeful that a sincere spirit of cooperation on the part of all members of the National Community Relations Advisory Council will result in a coordinated civic protective program that meets the present day needs of the Jewish communities throughout the United States.
