Independence Day will be observed on July 4 at 11 a. m. by the Jewish War Veterans of the United States at the amphitheater in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
Representatives from New York, Providence, R. I., Cleveland, Philadelphia and Washington are expected to be present. The national president, William Berman of New York City, will present a silver insignia of the organization, to be placed among the mementoes in the chapel dedicated to the Unknown Soldier.
Millard E. Tydings, United States Senator from Maryland, will be speaker. The United States Navy Band will play.
