Jewish War Wounded in Poland Will Be Trated Fairly by Present Polish Government Conference of Jewish

The present Polish Government, consisting mostly of ex-soldiers who served at the front, has complete understanding for the needs and the wishes of the war wounded, the District Governor of Cracow, M. Kwaszniewski, declared in speaking on behalf of the Government to the Conference of delegates of the Federation of Jewish war wounded in Poland, which is being held at Cracow, at the offices of the Cracow Jewish Community, with about 200 delegates present.

Telegrams of loyal greeting have been sent by the Conference to the President of the Republic, Professor Moscicki, to Marshal Pilsudski., and to the Prime Minister, Colonel Slawek.

The representative of the Ministry of Labour, Major Migdalek, said that this Government in its treatment of the war wounded makes no distinction between Jews and non-Jews. He was authorised, he went on, to declare to the conference that the Ministry of Labour will in the very near future give full satisfaction to the demands of the Jewish war wounded. The Prime Minister had sent him a telegram to be communicated to the Conference, he continued, announcing his conferment of the Golden Service Cross, the highest order in the gift of the Polish Republic, on Jacob Bochner, the President of the Federation of Jewish War Wounded in Poland.

Ex-Deputy Heller, who is a member of the Presidium of the Federation, reported on the work of the past year.
