The National Jewish Welfare Board announced today the award scholarships to 15 young men and women for graduate study in social work. The 15 will become social group workers at YMHA’s and Jewish community centers in various cities. In addition to the national awards, local YMHA’s and centers have made 42 scholarship and work-study grants to prospective communal workers.
