The Canadian Jewish Congress and the National Jewish Welfare Board today announced that arrangements have been made for JWB to provide services in the field of Jewish Community Center work to Canadian Jewish communities and organizations through a newly concluded agreement between the two organizations.
In making public the extension of JWB services to Canadian organizations, including YM and YWHA’s, Jewish Community Centers, synagogues and other groups.” Saul Hayes, national executive director of the Congress, said: “We hope that this arrangement will be of practical benefit to the Canadian communities and organizations and that it will be utilized to the fullest extent in promoting and improving Jewish youth work, adult education activities and leisure time pursuits.”
