The first group of twenty-three Jews from the city of Isfahan in Iran, who fled when Nazi influences began to be dominant there returned today, following the Russo-British occupation of the country. Before the occupation of Iran, threats had been published against the “Jewish relations” of England, and many Jews fled to Istanbul fearing a possible repetition of the bloody programs which the Nazis provoked in Iraq.
