Mrs. Bracha Feldman, wife of a Brooklyn rabbi, arrived here today for an emergency brain operation in an attempt to save her life. Mrs. Feldman, who is extremely devout, received special permission to travel on the Sabbath from rabbis of the ultra-Orthodox Neturei Karta sect.
El Al, the Israel national airline, put a special plane at her disposal and she was rushed to Rome where she caught the regular El-Al plane for New York, arriving here barely 24 hours after emergency measures were taken to facilitate her journey.
