Jewish women in this country whose husbands were killed during wartime pogroms or in concentration camps may now become members of the newly-formed cooperatives for war-disabled persons, it was announced here.
The cooperatives were set up to provide war casualties with an opportunity to learn a vocation in order to make them economically self-sufficient. Women seeking affiliation with the cooperatives must be able to prove that they have no means of support, other than government pensions.
