The first membership appeal in the Thirteenth Triennial period of the National Council of Jewish Women, has been launched under the direction of Miss Gertrude Feibleman of Indianapolis, whose appointment as national chairman of the Department of Extension and Field Service has been announced by the president, Mrs. Joseph E. Friend.
Sections of the National Council of Jewish Women throughout the country have announced the completion of their plans for the observance of Council Sabbath on Friday evening, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, with special features in the services of the local synagogues and temples, including addresses by Council speakers.
