A special appeal for the enrollment of “Council Friends” to be concluded on Purim, March 20th, has been announced by Estlle Mr. Sternberger, Executive Secretary of the National Council of Jewish Women.
“The work of the National Council of Jewish Women, especially during the past three years, has won the admiration and interest of American Jewry,” declared Mrs. Sternberger. “Many men and women have asked for an opportunity to make a special contribution to our cause. This Purim ‘Council Friend’ appeal, which will begin now and end on Purim day, will allow every friend of the National Council to enroll as Special Contributors, ranging from ‘Patron’ subscriptions at $10., to ‘Council Friend’ contributions of $100. Our Sections throughout the country have already begun their Purim enrollment.”
