A resolution urging racial integration in public schools was adopted today at the national convention of the youth group of the United Synagogue of America.

Only one delegate, a Southern youth, abstained from voting on the measure calling, for an end to racial segregation in public education. More than 330 chapters in 30 states and Canada were represented by a total of over 1,200 delegates. Other resolutions called for a liberalized immigration policy and endorsed the United Nations as a concept.
