An international youth leaders camp session sponsored by the World Union for Progressive Judaism opened today at Vogelenzang, near Haarlem. Present at the session, which follows the close here of the biennial session of the World Union, will be Liberal youth leaders from the United States, Britain, Israel, France, South Africa, Germany, Brazil and Holland.
The election of Rabbi Jacob K. Shankman as chairman of the American board of the World Union was announced here this week-end by the Hon. Lily M. Montagu, president. Rabbi Shankman is spiritual leader of Temple Israel in New Rochelle, a Reform congregation.
