Jewish Youths in Rumania Plan March to Palestine; Criticize “half-measures”

Bucharest newspapers today carry a statement by the Jewish Youth Organization in the city of Jassy announcing its decision to start a march on foot from Rumania to Palestine.

The announcement says that the march is intended as a protest against “such half-measures as meetings and memorandums.” The Jassy group reveals that it has suggested to the Zionist Organization of Rumania that it organize a mass-march to Palestine “in order to show to the world that Jewish youth is determined to overcome all obstacles in their way to Palestine.”
