The recent “election” in Germany indicated that Jews are no longer the chief sufferers of the Nazis, declared Prof. Alfons Goldschmidt exiled German scholar, speaking at an executive session of the American Committee for the Relief of Victimized German Children.
“The cold pogrom has been extended to all who do not ‘Heil Hitler’ with sufficient ardor”, said Professor Goldschmidt. It is because of this and the danger that Naziism is not confined to Germany alone, that we must not devote ourselves exclusively to the racial question. We must devote our activities to all persecuted Germans, regardless of creed and political affiliation.”
