Jews, Catholics and Protestants met at a mass meeting for the promotion of closer understanding among faiths under the auspices of the Catholic Laymen’s League of Orange and Rockland counties.
The speakers included Rabbi Benjamin B. Goldstein, the Rev. Martin E. Fahy, of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tuxedo, N. Y., and Professor Daniel J. Fleming of the Union Theological Seminary. The co-chairmen of the meeting were B. C. Dunlop, Protestant, Arthur T. O’Leary, Catholic, and Dr. I. Massarsky, Jew.
