“Although 78 per cent of the children of the German refugees who are being aided by the World Committee for the Relief of Victimized German Children are non-Jews, 99 per cent of the funds being used for the relief work are contributions of Jews,” Katherine Perry, acting secretary of the American Committee, 55 West Forty-second street, announced.
“Children, irrespective of race, creed or political belief, have been gathered in homes in France and Holland, have been placed with private families, or have been sent to holiday camp. The figures cited above are actual figures of how the relief money has been spent and collected,” Miss Perry said. She is acting secretary of the American Committee for the Relief of Victimized German Children.
