Official Netherland circles today received information from the underground movement in occupied Holland disclosing that the deportation of Jews from Amsterdam is being carried out in alphabetical order, irrespective of age.

All the Jews of Amsterdam are classified by the Nazi authorities in two categories, the report revealed. The documents of the first category of Jews are being stamped “Gesperrt” meaning that their case is closed and that they are to be deported. The Jews in the second category have their documents stamped with the word “Bis” meaning that they will be allowed to remain in Amsterdam “until further notice.” The second category is composed of Jews who are considered essential to Germany’s war effort, as well as members of the Jewish Council, including rabbis.

The Berlin radio last night reported that at least 130,000 Jews have already been deported from Holland “to eastern territory.” It emphasized that Holland will be “completely judenrein” within a few weeks.
