Jews resident in the province of Bavaria who plan to emigrate to Israel, or elsewhere, must submit a list of all personal property they expect to take with them to the Export-Import Department of the Bavarian Government, it was announced here today by Hans Tichauer, head of the department.
State Secretary Huge Geiger assured a delegation from the Jewish Agency, the Central Jewish Committee and the office of the Commissioner for Racial Persecutes that the Bavarian authorities will make every effort to aid the emigrants take along all personal effects listed by them. Such items as machinery and tools intended for professional use abroad must be listed and submitted to the Minister of Economics.
