Jews Evacuate Polish Town After Renewed Disorders

Hundreds of Jewish families today evacuated the nearby town of Minsk Mazowieck after four Jews had been seriously injured in renewed disorders. All Jewish shops were closed.

An American Jew, Abraham Rosenberg, who was visiting his mother, sought protection of the police and was taken to the police station.

A check-up showed that sixteen Jews were injured yesterday in disturbances that followed the arrest of a Jew, Jubka Leib Chaskilewicz, for the murder of a Polish corporal in what was described as a drunken brawl.

In the town of Gurak Alwarja Jews were attacked at the railway station and beaten up.
