Jews for Jesus is targeting San Diego Jews in a proselytizing campaign during the High Holidays. The “Behold Your God” campaign, which will use about 30 missionaries and cost $100,000, has angered Jewish community leaders in the city, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. The San Diego Rabbinical Association is among several groups that have convened a town-hall meeting to warn Jews of the Jews for Jesus missionaries, many of whom actually are Christians. A similar two-week campaign was slated to begin Sunday in Denver, The Associated Press reported.
