An unusually large percentage of Jewish voters were disfranchised as a result of the last Soviet election ordinance.

The figures show that the average number of Jews disfranchised during the last elections amounted to 28 per cent of the total Jewish voters. In the towns the number was even higher, amounting to 40 per cent.

Among the Ukrainian population, the number disfranchised in the towns was only 2.5 per cent and among the Russian population only 0.5 per cent.
