Mr. Boustany told the Parliament that a Jew of Russian origin was serving as commander of an artillery unit and that a Greek Jew was head of the Army’s medical board. Replying to the deputy’s suggestion. the Foreign Minister said that the question should not have been raised publicly as it affected the “dignity of the Army.” the report said.
