Intervention is being made by the representative Jewish organisations here with the members of the Prussian Diet to prevent the Nazi motion for the prohibition of Shechita obtaining a majority when it comes up in the House for a vote. Many of the Deputies have given assurances that they will vote against the resolution, and the Jewish representatives are hopeful that it will be defeated.
