The formation of an organization to be named the Argentine Jewish Committee, moulded along the lines of the American Jewish Committee, is being planned here, it was indicated today.
The president of the new organization, it was stated, will be Simon Mirelman. The vice presidents will be Enrique Schuster and Mario Schteingart. The latter is president of the B’nai B’rith in Argentina. No opinion has yet been expressed by the DAIA, central representative body of Argentina Jewry, towards the formation of the new group.
