Jews in Hungary are excluded from the benefits of the new rent regulations issued to protect tenants from unjustified increases, the Hungarian press today points out. The new measures prohibit landlords from giving tenants of apart must houses and business premises notices to vacate or pay higher rentals. They specify that non-Jews are protected by the measure and state that Jewish tenants may be ordered to vacate.
