A direct radio broadcast to the Jews in Nazi-occupied Poland assuring them that their “ghetto walls will crumble” and that they will yet see “victory rise over the shambles of Germany,” was given here last night over the B.B.C. station by Dr. Ignacy Schwartzbart, Jewish member of the Polish National Council. He informed them of the various pledges made by the Polish Government-in-exile that Jews in post-war Poland will enjoy equal right under equal obligations, and told them of the tens of thousands of Jews who have joined the Polish army in Soviet Russia.
