The Central Committee of the Jews of Poland is represented on a special commission which has been appointed to investigate the crimes committed by the Germans at the Oswiecim camp, it was announced today in a broadcast by the Polish Provisional Government. The commission held its first meeting last Monday in Cracow, the broadcast said.
Meanwhile, representatives of all European countries are being shown around the Oswiecim camp and crematorium by members of the commission. The members have voted to preserve the camp and its facilities as a museum so that posterity may have a record of the most scientific of all institutions for murder, the government broadcast revealed.
