Jews in the town of Nowy Targ, near the Slovakien border, are panic stricken as a result of threats by a fascist, anti-Semitic underground band that attacks on Jews are imminent. The warning of anti-Jewish violence was contained in a note sent this week to David Gruengrass, head of the local Jewish committee.

At the same time, it was reported here today from Silesia that a convention of representatives of demobilized Jews has concluded in the city of Richbach, after adopting a resolution offering the services of demobilized Jewish soldiers to the Central Committee of the Jews in Poland for the reconstruction of Jewish life in the country.
