Jews in southern Russia called on local citizens to stand up against a recent act of vandalism against a Jewish cemetery. Ten tombstones were toppled in a Jewish cemetery in the town of Pyatigorsk in Russia’s Northern Caucasus, which is known for its mixed Christian, Muslim and Jewish populations.
