A resolution calling upon the Rumanian Government to release the Zionist leaders currently under arrest in that country was adopted here today at the concluding session of the national conference of the Zionist Federation of Sweden.
Among the other resolutions carried at the session was one calling for the formation of a joint Jewish committee to seek compensation for Jewish victims of Hitlerism now living in Sweden “so that they can recreate their cultural institutions.” Major speakers at the parley were: Zionist Federation chairman Fritz Hollander, who was reelected; Israel Minister Abraham Nissan; and Chief Rabbi Kurt Wilhelm.
