Jewish soldiers of the U.S. 29th Field Artillery Battalion will man all posts on Christmas day to give Christian soldiers free time for religious services.
An army announcement today said Jewish soldiers had volunteered to stand guard, do kitchen police and all other necessary tasks on the holiday.
