A number of Jews figure in the long list of scientists who have worked in Canada on the development of the atomic bomb. The list was released here today by C.D. Howe, Canada’s Minister of Munitions and Supply and Reconstruction.
The Jewish scientists, who were associated with the Montreal laboratory established during the war for atomic research, are Mr. D. M. Eisen, of the University of Toronto; L. Nirenberg of McGill University; J.W. Ozeroff of University of British Colombia; Dr. L. Yaffe of the University of Manitoba; Dr. M. Cohen of the University of Toronto, and Dr. L. Siminovitch of McGill University.
