The more than 25,000 Jews of India have decided to memorialize the Indian Viceroy, Lord Irwin, to accord them representation around the conference tables. At the All-India minorities conference last week they demanded individual representation of all minorities. Hitherto the Jews have been classified as Europeans although they have lived here for many generations.

Sir David Ezra and Meyer Nissim, leaders of Indian Jewry, the latter just retired as Lord Mayor of Bombay, are going to Europe this week to take up the matter with the Colonial Office.
