A resolution resenting the restrictions on the Tarbuth schools (schools where Hebrew is the language of instruction) and the withdrawal of subsidies to the teachers of the seminary attached to the Tarbuth schools was adopted here today at a conference of representatives of 83 parents’ committees. The Central Organization of the Tarbuth schools was instructed to approach the Lithuanian government with a view to the creation of a Jewish school department in the Ministry of Education, similar to that in Latvia and Esthonia.
