The Jews of Palestine can take care of themseleve, Dr. Chaim Weizmann declared last night at a meeting of the Philadelphia All##es Jewish Appeal. He added that “we are organized fully and great assaults are one of the question.”
The aged Zionist leader, however, did not rule out “sniping, incidents or attacks on remote settlements.” He gave the Arabs full credit for being excellent guerrilla fighters, asserting that 100 Bedouins can create great havoc until beaten ##. He also warned the neighboring Arab states against thoughts of attacking the Jewish community of Palestine.
