The Jews are numerically the second largest religious group among the 52 religious denominations and sects represented at Harvard University, according to a recent survey made by Phillips Brooks House, a Harvard philanthropic organization. The questions as to religious affiliations were asked of more than 8,000 students when they registered last September, and replies were received of 4,702. According to the survey, the Episcopalians lead with 968 students, Jews are second with 735, and the Catholics are third with 695.
