Plans for an All-Jewish celebration of Maryland’s tercentenary early in September were made at a meeting of the Pyramid Club.
Pointing out that a dozen or more Jews came over with the colony’s founders aboard the Ark and the Dove, officers of the organization said the celebration would commemorate the part these pioneers played in the early history of the state.
The club is a non-partisan organization, politically, but last night’s program included a discussion of the various candidates in the coming primaries. Maxwell Havelock presided.
